Firstly, let’s start by addressing when is an ideal time to purchase your wedding dress. Here at the Wedding Rooms in Kidderminster, we always recommend that your begin to look for your dress a year before your wedding. The reason for this is, once you find your dream dress, it usually takes 5-6 months to be made by the designer and delivered. Most dresses need some sort of alterations to make the dress fit perfectly, this process usually begins three months before your wedding. Therefore, with this in mind, it could be a total of nine months before your dress is ready to make her big debut. The year timeframe is perfect for most brides as it allows for a stress-free time and a buffer for any delays etc.
However, we have been speaking to a lot of our brides who have had appointments postponed due to the coronavirus shut down. Their main concern is that, they have to compromise or restricted their choice due to a having closer appointment to their wedding date.
